The Business Process Re-Engineering Management Consultant should be a self-starter who is proactive in completing assignments, resourceful in looking for answers to questions, meets deadlines, contributes to client work products and is a team player. The practitioner should be able to work well with others and support collaboration across workstreams. Should have BPR experiences, including: creating process maps, conducting stakeholder analysis, supporting current state and future state assessments and can document processes from policies or other written process guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Institutionalize and execute a framework that defines a clear organizational governance structure for the PMO, establishes rules of engagement, and provides measurable objectives to strengthen PMO’s overall Program Management capacity
  • Apply BPM methodologies and industry best practices to define and document current and future processes
  • Identifying end-to-end processes and define which ones are enterprise level processes
  • Support in identifying deviations, iterations, and variances (gap analysis) across the agency for the acquisition processes versus the enterprise standards 
  • Document standardized end-to-end acquisition processes across the agency at the lowest level (tasks/standard operating procedure) 
  • Proficiently leverage MS Visio to develop process flow diagrams working closely with technology architects to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Lead development of process flow deliverables, prioritize tasks, and work products end-to-end
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Undergraduate degree in related field
  • 5 years of business process consulting experience
  • 5+ years Business Process Analysis 
  • 5+ years Business Process Engineering 
  • 5+ years Current and Future State Assessments
  • Deep understanding of End-to-end Acquisition Business Processes
  • Proficiency in BPM methodologies and technologies
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Prior experience with process mapping, including use of Visio or other mapping tools
  • Prior experience with end-to-end BPR engagements, including developing current and target state process maps and conducting solution gap analysis
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
